Conditions We Specialize In

Leg - Contact our clinics about treatments for varacose and spider veins.

Below are a few of the conditions that we treat at The Vein Doctor. To give you a better idea of what the conditions are, we have provided a short description below. If you think you are suffering from one of these conditions or would like to learn more, please contact us today—we would be glad to answer your questions.

  • Varicose veins are normally defined by veins that are very swollen and are dark purple or blue in color. The veins rise above the normal skin and resemble twisted cord. They are most often found on the backs of the calves or on the inside of the leg. As the condition worsens, you will experience leg pain such as aching or cramping in your upper or lower leg with swelling in those areas. It will also create at heavy or sluggish feeling in your legs.

  • Spider veins are similar to varicose veins, but are smaller and often red or blue in color. These veins often appear closer to the surface of the skin creating jagged lines that resemble a spider's web. Spider veins can be found on both the legs and the face. They can cover either a very small or very large area of skin.

  • Rosacea is a chronic disruptive disorder primarily of the facial skin, characterized by flare-ups typically beginning any time after age 30 as a redness on the cheeks, nose, chin, or forehead that may come and go. In some cases, this condition may also appear on the neck, chest, scalp, or ears. Over time, the redness becomes ruddier and more persistent, and visible blood vessels may appear. Rosacea appears in three different stages, the early, middle, and advance. When you visit our clinic, we have the best treatments to help you battle each stage.

  • Skin tags are a common, but harmless skin growth. They are frequently found on the eyelids, neck, chest, or armpits, men or women both. We are easily able to remove these tags by freezing them, cutting them off, or tying off the tag with a thread or suture.
